內(nèi)皮素(Endothelin, ET)是由血管內(nèi)皮細胞產(chǎn)生的異肽,具有強大的血管收縮活性。這種肽由三個獨立的基因編碼,經(jīng)過加工產(chǎn)生39個殘基的 '大ET '分子,再進一步加工成21個氨基酸序列,命名為ET-1、ET-2和ET-3。ET的作用是通過與兩個受體(ETA和ETB)的結(jié)合來介導(dǎo)的。ETA的激活會增加血管收縮和鈉潴留,從而增加血壓。ETB受體的激活引發(fā)血管舒張因子的釋放,如內(nèi)皮細胞的一氧化氮(NO)和前列腺素,并增加尿液的產(chǎn)生和排出,從而降低血壓。
